HI THERE. LET'S SHAKE HANDS.

Now that we've somewhat formally introduced ourselves, let's talk business. On this blog, I'm going to have many different types of posts. Mainly however, will be about makeup. Whether the post is a review, a haul of sorts, or some sort of informative explanation of my then-current routines, it'll revolve around makeup. But I have many different types of issues in my life. My insecurities, anger issues, social isolation, and the feeling that I always get that I have to live up to an expectation from someone else. It's as if I never do anything for myself, without feeling ashamed, for no reason at all. That's why I made this blog, it is something I've always wanted to do. We'll call it our little secret! :)

My Makeup Tips for Schoolio!

School is an unecessary stress in everyone's life. Looking gorgeous while writing a thousand word paper, is something many people strive for. IF YOU IS STRIVIN FO DAT, U IS IN DA RITE PLACE YOO.

First Tip:
Use a face primer if you're in school continuously. I go home for lunch, so I have a chance to touch up my face makeup. But some people are in school for 6-7 hours straight. If you're one of those people, face primer is a must! You may never get a chance to touch up your makeup during school, or just find it awkward to bring your compact to the bathroom.
I only own one face primer that I've been impressed with. I highly dislike clear gel-like face primers. Ex: Smashbox photo-finish, ELF mineral, MAC, MUFE, revlon, etc. The one I prefer is the Benefit "That gal". Featured in the "One Prime Day" set, which retails for $10 in the US, I got a chance to try it out. I have yet to purchase the full size, for the mini has lasted me for quite awhile, and I don't use it on a regular basis.

Second Tip:
Don't wear shimmery eyeshadow; this will lead to fall-out. That's really not ca-ute. Personally, I feel like people who don't know a lot about makeup, don't know when you're wearing face makeup (like foundation, concealer, powder, etc). If they're curious about your face, and see that you have shimmers on your eyelids, they'll automatically assume  you're wearing makeup. For some people, you would NOT care. For me, I don't like for people to know I'm wearing face makeup. Especially in school. I like people to think that my skin is naturally that radiant and flawless. ;) ahah.

Third Tip:
Set that gorgeous face with a good powder! This will sort of lock your other face makeup in place so that it doesn't budge... for awhile anyway! If you use a good one, it'll guarantee no movement, creasing, or fading in your face makeup for a good 3-4 hours. I know that doesn't sound like much, but if you're a girl with acne-prone oily skin, you know that that's pretty darn helpful.
I prefer the Maybelline Dream Matte for a, for lack of a better word, "crappy" powder. It sets my face, but doesnt give me any coverage. Unintentionally translucent?
For added coverage, I REALLY like the Mac Studio Fix. If I'm not wearing foundation, I  use this. It gives me a nice coverage and makes my makeup last for at least 3.5 hours!

And that's it! I know my tips weren't amazing, or high in quantity. They're the ones that I felt like sharing! <3
